Georgia Remembers: A Candlelight Memorial
Each year, Student Care and Outreach coordinates the university’s annual memorial ceremony, Georgia Remembers: A Candlelight Memorial. This ceremony honors current students, faculty, and staff who have passed away during the previous year. All family and friends of UGA are welcome to attend.
2021 Ceremony:
The 2021 Georgia Remembers: A Candlelight Memorial will be held on Tuesday, May 4 at 7:00 p.m. at the UGA Chapel. The memorial will honor students, faculty, and staff who passed away since April 2019, including those would have been remembered at the 2020 ceremony, which was not held due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
